Make the crêpe
Whisk together the flour, sugar, eggs, and milk until completely smooth. Rest for 10 minutes. Heat a lightly oiled non-stick pan over medium heat. Pour in enough batter to coat the base in a thin, even layer. Cook for 1–2 minutes until the surface is set, then flip and cook 30 seconds more. The crêpe should be pale. It will cook further in the oven. Set aside to cool completely on a flat surface.
